The DAMNABLE HERESY of John MacArthur

Two quotes from John MacArthur's website article entitled, "The Blood of Christ" with my response from scripture. Herein you will see him completely say one thing and then turn around and contradict himself by saying something else. Would I be looking for perfection in a finite man teaching the scripture? Of course not. But the words of MacArthur are most certainly from a spirit of antichrist according to the Holy Scriptures. Read MacArthur's words for yourself:

"And so Jesus Christ passed through heaven number one, heaven number two and entered into heaven number three and God didn't tell him, "Look, You've got 24 hours to get this over with and get out." When He got there, what did He do? He sat down. It was done. It was accomplished. He made a perfect atonement for all sins for all time and all other sacrifices before that were but pictures of that perfect sacrifice. The ascended resurrected Christ carried Himself past the two outer heavens into the abode of God and when He got there He sprinkled His blood on that divine, eternal, heavenly Mercy Seat...and you know what? God said, "I am satisfied forever." ~ John MacArthur

"Keep in mind that when I talk about Christ sprinkling His blood on the Mercy Seat, I'm not saying He literally sprinkled His physical blood on some physical object in the heavenlies. I believe the writer is speaking in a symbolic sense. It is an illustration which pictures the atoning effect of Christ's death on the cross. His death was foreshadowed in the action of the High Priest sprinkling blood on the Mercy Seat in the Old Testament era. Christ offered Himself to the Father as a sacrifice for sin. In that sense, He fulfilled the picture of the sprinkling of blood on the Mercy Seat." ~ John MacArthur

MacArthur's words on Jesus' blood are clearly antichrist because Jesus took his LITERAL BLOOD to heaven and literally SPRINKLED it on the mercy seat in heaven. Mac says it was only "symbolic." But it is the old Greek Platonic lie of antichrist that separates matter from spirit. Matter is not spirit neither is spirit matter but they are not separated from each other; spirit is behind matter. What I mean is Jesus rose again in a PHYSICAL BODY. He still has the SCARS- the holes in his hands to prove it. Jesus is coming back in a literal GLORIFIED BODY. JESUS IS the first GOD man = only begotten from the dead. See the lie of antichrist denies this and it isn't just someone denying that Jesus came in the flesh. It goes much deeper than that. There are many more quotes I could take from MacArthur's own website post that show that he believes Jesus' blood is only SYMBOLIC of his death. This is DAMNABLE HERESY!

1Jn_4:2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:

1Jn_4:3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

2Jn_1:7 For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.

Demons can confess that Jesus Christ came in the flesh but there can be much more to it that just mere confession of his first coming in a human body. This can have a lot more to do with his ascension. You see what I am saying? The spirit of antichrist is crafty. I see now that MacArthur actually does not confess that Jesus Christ came in the flesh by denying his FIRST BODILY ASCENSION into the heavenlies to RECEIVE HIS GLORIFIED BODY.

This is why the Apostle John warned about abiding in the DOCTRINE of CHRIST and we must abide in ALL of JESUS' teaching:

Again read:

2Jn 1:7 For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.

2Jn 1:8 Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward.

2Jn 1:9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.

2Jn 1:10 If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:

2Jn 1:11 For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.

Heb_9:12 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but BY HIS OWN BLOOD HE ENTERED ONCE INTO THE HOLY PLACE, having obtained eternal redemption for us.

Jesus literally entered heaven and SPRINKLED his blood on the LITERAL MERCY SEAT. He then received his glorified body. It was at this point when he had come back to earth that Thomas was then allowed to touch him.

Joh 20:17 Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.

Joh_20:27 Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.

Joh_7:39 (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not YET GLORIFIED.) Jesus had two ascensions. One after he rose from the grave to receive his glorified body and then again prior to Pentecost.

Heb 9:22 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.

Heb 9:23 It was therefore necessary that the patterns of things in the heavens should be purified with these; but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these.

Heb 9:24 For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us:
Even Charles Spurgeon taught that Jesus took his blood to heaven. What MacArthur is teaching is the opposite of what Spurgeon and others have taught. Here are a few quotes from Spurgeon:

7. C. H. SPURGEON (1834-1892)

Spurgeon has often been called "the prince of preachers." He was the author of the largest sermon set in the English language.

In a sermon given on February 28, 1886, Spurgeon said:

"When we climb into heaven itself…we shall not have gone beyond the influence of the Blood of sprinkling; nay, we shall see it there more truly present than any other place. 'What!' you say, 'the blood of Jesus in Heaven?' Yes! Let those who talk lightly of the precious blood correct their view ere they be guilty of blasphemy…For me there is nothing worth thinking of or preaching about but this grand theme. The Blood of Christ is the life of the gospel" (C. H. Spurgeon, "The Blood of Sprinkling," February 28, 1886, Metropolitan Tabernacle Pulpit, reprinted by Pilgrim Publications, Pasadena, Texas, volume 32, p. 121).

Again, Spurgeon said:

"If you or I had gone there without atonement of blood, heaven would have been defiled. But the Lord has gone there, and has sprinkled His blood on the mercy seat" (C. H. Spurgeon, "Our Lord's Entrance Within the Veil," #2,074, Metropolitan Tabernacle Pulpit, volume 35, p. 145).
And here is a third quote from Spurgeon:

"It [the Blood] is said to be sprinkled within the veil, so that where the high priest could go only once a year we may now go at all times, for the blood is there, interceding for us perpetually" (C. H. Spurgeon, "The Saviour's Precious Blood," #3,395,Metropolitan Tabernacle Pulpit).

Thus, both the resurrection and preservation of Jesus' Blood were preached by Spurgeon, for he said, "We shall see it there more truly present than in any other place. 'What!' you say, 'the blood of Jesus in Heaven?' Yes!" That's what the most famous Baptist preacher who ever lived believed! Quotes taken from here:

MacArthur's teaching is a crafty lie from satan. It requires true discernment to see it for what it really is. I hope many wake up and turn away from this imposter who is causing just as much error, though many cannot see it.
