JESUS is the SURE FOUNDATION!

1 Pet 2:7 Unto you therefore which believe he is PRECIOUS: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner, 8 And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were APPOINTED.


The builders disallow to this day. It was appointed. To to you the Elect who REALLY BELIEVE he truly is PRECIOUS. And just why is he precious? Because of what he has accomplished for us. When you know your salvation is SURE, Jesus becomes PRECIOUS to you.

Heb 1:2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things.

Just as the Father APPOINTED the SON heir of all things, so those who are appointed heirs according to promise are in fact chosen by God. Just as God has not appointed us unto wrath, so are those APPOINTED to stumble at the word. This is a SURE word. JESUS is the FOUNDATION and what is FOUNDED upon him- the ROCK- will NEVER PERISH. Jesus' foundation is tried and true. Those who are founded upon him WILL ENDURE the test because Jesus already endured the test. His foundation is TRIED and TRUE.

2Ti_2:19 Nevertheless the FOUNDATION of God standeth SURE, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

Heb_6:19 Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both SURE and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil;

Mat 7:24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:

Jesus is elect, precious, chosen and we are elect and chosen in him. I see that Jesus being the foundation, he was already tried, and because his foundation has already been tried, it is SURE! When something is SURE, it will happen, just as salvation is sure to whom it is appointed. If you are appointed to eternal life there is NOTHING in all the world, hell or high water that can stop God's plan for you.

1Pe 2:4 To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious,
1Pe 2:5 Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
1Pe 2:6 Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded.

He that TRULY believes on him will NEVER BE PUT TO SHAME. Those that truly believe in him will NEVER BE MOVED.
